The Grand Tour - a talk by Gareth Williams

Join renowned local art historian Gareth Williams on Friday 21 June at 7pm for a historical talk.

Gareth will be giving a talk that asks what was so grand about the Grand Tour and how did this extraordinary gap year have such a lasting impact on the people that did it?

Tickets are £10 including a welcome drink.

Jubilee Tower Guided Tour

As summer approaches, why not enjoy a panoramic view of Shrewsbury from a unique viewpoint? This tour gives visitors a chance to climb to the viewing gallery at the top of the Jubilee Tower.  

This opportunity is one of the most exciting developments in the restoration project, offering fantastic views of Shrewsbury, and the surrounding countryside beyond from the eighth storey of the building.

Walk or run 5k or 10k around the undulating route surrounding the new Beaver Project enclosure with the race starting and finishing at Flaxmill Creates Festival. Open to all ages and abilities with a medal for all finishers.
