The next Civic Society talk is taking place on Thursday February 21st at the St. Oswalds Parish Centre, 7 for 7.30pm.
The Society's Planning Officer, David Ward, is presenting a talk entitled "The Civic Approach to climate Change - the part we can play".
Dave will provide a short up to date summary of the signs of climate change, and the World response at present. He will make a short survey of the UK response to the issues raised. The major part of his talk will be a discussion of the measures which communities and individuals can and ought to take to reduce their impact on the climate.
