| First Blood Pressure Champions are trained! We're so excited to announce we're working with Shropshire Council and NHS England to deliver the Shropshire Community Blood Pressure Checks project. The initiative aims to recruit volunteers to raise awareness of the symptoms and risks of cardiovascular disease within local communities. Our Blood Pressure Champion Coordinator, Jo Longetti trained her first four champions on Wednesday 9th August and cannot wait to onboard many more! 'Wheelchairs Wanted' campaign a success! Qube recently used its social media channels as a place to kick off their 'Wheelchairs Wanted' campaign. The campaign was a success and we had a number of incredible people come forward to donate wheelchairs that were in fantastic condition. These new additions mean our Shopmobility offering is in great shape and ready for locals and visitors to use to make their experience in the town more accessible. | Volunteer with us! Get in touch with our Volunteering Coordinator, Susie Sutcliffe to find your perfect volunteering role here at Qube. We have lots of volunteering opportunities available, so there's something to suit everyone. For the tech-savvy we have our Digital Skills Helper roles, for the ones who like a natter and cup of tea we have our Social Group Helper roles and for the ones who love being on the open road, we have our Dial-a-Ride Driver and Passenger Assistant roles. Qube are attending the Oswestry Town Council Wellbeing Community Event Several members of the Qube team, including Lou from Social Prescribing, Susie from Volunteering and Gemma from Arts, will be attending the Oswestry Wellbeing Community Event at Hope Church on 11th October. The aim of the event is to help reduce social isolation in and around Oswestry, and offer the opportunity for residents to meet local organisations who are able to provide support. |

The programme is designed to provide one-to-one digital support and drop-ins to enable digitally excluded people access to help with their technology in their local.
