Thank you to everyone who joined in with cutting back the dock in the wildflower meadow at the Jubille Field near Platt Bridge. Surprisingly it was good fun and we found plenty to talk about while we worked. By cutting back the dock we are hoping to weaken it so it doesn't dominate as much as it did last year. We found lots of wildflowers beginning to grow and they should benefit from the extra light in the area we worked in. There is another session arranged for Monday 22 April at 2pm so please do come and join us if you can. It will probably be for around an hour or perhaps a little longer. The best tools are garden shears. Best wishes David
