James Bond and the Tennis Raquet

Something to make you smile.

On Sunday James Bond, well known voice of BBC Shropshire Radio, called at Brownhill House with a tennis raquet he had found on the road near the Bridge.

I duly sent out a Can you Help notice which, for some reason, bounced back from every hotmail address on the mailing list.  I sent it again saying a tennis bat had been found but still the hotmail addresses bounced back, with the message `naughty words have been used` or words to that effect.

In the meantime I received a message from a Ruyton resident to say he would put the message about at the Baschurch tennis club.

THEN, I received a message from the Ruyton resident`s wife to say she thought she had solved the mystery.   When she returned from a game of tennis on Sunday she found her car boot had sprung open on the way home.

However, it was not until yesterday, when she wanted to play tennis again that she could not find her raquet and the penny dropped.

Lots of laughs all round, especially at the tennis club.

I now think those couples who want both him and her to be on the mailing list might have a point.

I wonder if this email will bounce back from all the hotmail addresses, if so, none of them will be able to share the joke!
