Saturday May 3.
The shopping centres will be the venues for the fashion and dance extravaganza, with visitors able to watch the very latest Spring and Summer designs modelled as part of a slick, specially commissioned, choreographed show.
There will be 12 performances to enjoy throughout the day with retailers showing off their very latest outfits and designs based around four themes, floral resolutions, monochrome, fondants and tribal.
Choreographer Glen Ball talked of what he had planned for the Shrewsbury event and said: “I want to make the shows interesting and a little different. Dance is so huge at the moment and it’s so great that everyone loves watching it and taking part.“What I can promise is that it will be high energy, visually very striking and will really get the party going.”
Kevin Lockwood, Manager of the Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside Shopping Centres, said: “The show which Glenn and his team have planned is a whole new concept and a first for the shopping centres and for Shrewsbury.
“To have a choreographer like Glenn put the show together along with other professional dancers and models who have worked with some of the biggest names in showbiz is a real coup for Shrewsbury.
“It will really put us on the fashion map and show that you don’t need to travel to the major cities to find the latest designs and best outfits.”
