With the imminent replacement of the old boiler (not me I hasten to add) I have turned out an airing cupboard full of stuff no-one has seen for years!
Roger has said he wants the towels "in case they come in useful" - so he can find somewhere to store them.
A large bag of nylon sheets????? has anyone found a new use for these things?
6 shower curtains - can be recycled as The Brownhill Wheelbarrow. As we cannot use the wheeled variety in our garden, rubbish is piled onto a shower curtain and then humped tothe bonfire, wonderful. However, they never wear out!! certainly not as fast as the shower curtains go mouldy.
I can recommend the Brownhill Wheelbarrow to anyone who has a steep garden - sadly, I guess most of you are more sensible
A really ancient woollen double blanket, just the thing for a dog basket, or two. Or perhaps there is a museum out there looking for a prewar bed covering.
Looking forward for help from the trusty Mailing List,
Yoland
