Cliffe, Hopton & Nesscliffe Hills - THE FUTURE

Message from Ruyton Parish Council.

To anyone you know who has/does use the Cliffe, Hopton and Nesscliffe Hills, even those not living locally.

Clive Dean, our Shropshire Council Parks and Greenspace Officer, responsible for the Cliffe and the Nesscliffe Hills, is hoping to form a Project Development Group, to submit an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund.  This is your chance to have your say about our hills and help shape this potential new heritage project for Nesscliffe Hill, Hopton Hill and The Cliffe.

Please complete the online survey as soon as possible at :-   https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/nesscliffe-park-feedback

For example would you like to see:

Wildlife and heritage features conserved for future generations?
More people aware of how special the area is?
More activities for young people?
More people actively looking after the hills?
Improved access to the hills and their heritage for all?
Something else?

The attached document outlines some of the initial ideas, and information about the Project. Other ideas and comments are welcome.

There is a short deadline, as the aim is to submit an application to the Heritage Lottery Fund this June 2015.

Any queries contact:
Clive Dean, Parks and Greenspace Officer,
Shropshire Outdoor Partnerships,

It is really important that we get your feedback.
Please pass this information on to anyone else you know who may be interested.

Many thanks
Ros
