BROWNHILL HOUSE GARDEN

REMINDER

BROWNHILL HOUSE GARDEN, Ruyton XI Towns IS OPEN
next Tuesday 26th May

The following day, we are expecting visitors to the garden from SWITZERLAND!

Hopefully it will be easier for you to visit your local NGS garden!

On our open day in April some 8 people from the mailing list came to the garden, we are so grateful when we get local support.

Don`t forget, if you can`t make it on Tuesday, just drop an email or phone to arrange a visit to suit - we are open by arrangement until the end of July.

The garden is already a picture with the trees, both in the garden and across the valley, still in their bright spring green, the wild flowers in the wood are a picture and, in spite of the weather, the borders are looking colourful.   The Laburnum Tunnel is always worth a gasp or two, copied after seeing the famous one at Bodnant Gardens, the gardener there said he would not have believed ours was possible if he had not seen the pictures.   Come and enjoy our Laburnum but don`t ever think of having your own - it is a great deal of work to get it ready for our May opening day.

Then of course, there is that `touch of eccentricity` for which this garden is so well known.

Come and see us, even better if you can come on your feet or on a bicycle, we all know how difficult it is to park in this village!  We can only fit about ten cars in Dave & Margaret`s field.

Admission £3.50 - Children FREE! - TEAS - Plants for sale - not suitable for wheelchairs - Sorry, no dogs.

*    Unique 2 acre hillside garden
*    Featured in Good Gardens Guide and this year in the April edition of Shropshire REVIEW             magazine

This is the 31st year we have been opening the garden - how often have you been to see what we have done?
