My Life in the RAF

A bit far away but if you are interested in the RAF & planes, it seems to be well worth going to Trefonen.

Message from Pam Johnson.

My Life in the RAF

A talk by Group Captain Jon Fynes RAF(Retd)

Not to be missed!

In a career lasting 35 years Jon flew over 40 different aircraft, was responsible for the Red Arrows and was chosen to be the RAF Pallbearer

at the Queen Mother's funeral.

He jousted with 1600 media reps as the RAF spokesman for Gulf War 2 and even had a complete episode of Blue Peter tackling an unusual challenge with his son.

Most events, no matter how serious or important, tend to have amusing elements, many of which are never discussed in public. Jon will share some some of his memories, including what almost

went wrong at the funeral of

Her Majesty The Queen Mother!

Hosted by Trefonen WI this meeting is open to everyone of all ages and gender!

Trefonen Village Hall

7.30pm on Thursday 1st February.

£3 to include tea and biscuits
