I've been singing with a local Shanty crew for a few months now. They are "The Shropshire Boatmen" and sing about life on local Shropshire Union and Monty Canals (penned by two of the members) as well as more traditional shanties from the high seas. See Facebook.
We are fortunate in being invited by Tracy to sing at the Dog on Tuesday next, the 16th, starting at about 7.30pm. All are welcome, especially if you are willing to join in a few choruses!
