Every year flu is responsible for many thousands of deaths in the UK. The virus changes each year so you won't be protected this year even if you had the vaccination last year. Some people are eligible for a free flu vaccination on the NHS. This year, the risk of catching flu and COVID-19 together, and of hospitals being overwhelmed, makes protection against flu more crucial than ever.
To ensure that as many people as possible receive their vaccinations this year, we have updated our flu vaccination eligibility checker, and it's available to all Patient Access users.
What is the Patient Access flu eligibility checker?
Our flu vaccination eligibility checker guides you through a series of simple questions to determine if you're eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination.
You can also complete the eligibility checker on behalf of a loved one or dependant.
If you are eligible for a free vaccination you will be directed to a flu clinic appointment through your local GP practice.
Simply open your Patient Access application or click the button below to complete the eligibility checker and find out if you are eligible for a free vaccination.
What if I'm not eligible for a free vaccination?
If you are not eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination then you are still able to book a private flu vaccination at a local pharmacy and ensure that you are protected.
