Volunteering on the Cliffe
If you fancy good physical work, plenty of social chatter, appreciation from passers by, fresh air and a general feeling of well being then why not join a small group of volunteers who are clearing one of the footpaths on the Cliffe on Wednesday afternoon.
Our aim is to finish the excellent work we have done on the footpath at the northern end of the Cliffe, the one that goes from the top of the hill by Hill Cottage down to the bottom corner where it meets the bridleway coming up from Little Ness Road. So far we have done a section at the bottom and a section at the top so it's just the middle section to go, but don't worry because once we have done there is lots more to do.
We will meet at 1:45pm on Wednesday 30 October outside Hill Cottage.
