Upcoming Events and News The LADS AGM Thursday 14 November 2024 7.30pm in Pant Village Hall   If you would like to stand for election to the Committee or would like to know more about what is involved please let Marg know by Monday 11 November. All paid members are eligible to vote and stand for election in the AGM, more details and agenda will be circulated ahead of the meeting.   A Christmas Carol By Charles Dickens, adapted by Allison Utting   Rehearsals are underway and tickets are now on sale for this festive feast. Book Now   Dates for 2025 Plans are coming together for our 2025 season, if you would like to get involved please reach out and let us know.   January Workshop Drama workshop with LADS including masks and make up. Sunday 5 January at Pant Memorial Hall 10:00am until 4:00pm Nominal charge for non-LADS members. Tea and coffee provided. For further details please contact Marg Kynaston: margkyn@hotmail.com   One Act Plays Read through of proposed plays will take place on Wednesday 4 December 2024 in Pant Village Hall, Provisional performance dates 21-23 February 2025 at Llanymynech Village Hall, and at the MCDA competition 7/8 March 2025. If you have a play script to propose, please email ladstheatre@gmail.com or speak to one of the committee members.   Summer Production In Tents by Keith Clarke Read through and casting sessions to take place 5th and 9th March 7.30pm and 2.30pm at Llanymynech Village Hall. Rehearsals start in April and performances in June   Autumn Production The Committee also welcomes ideas for our Autumn production next year if you have a script or ideas to put forward please contact us.   Other News! Wellington Drama Festival at the Belfrey Theatre 10 plays over the course of one week, performed by different groups and followed by an adjudication from GODA adjudicator Robert Meadows. Performances across the week commencing 9 November 2024. LADS Member Rick Chaloner's play "Loose Ends" is on on Saturday 16 November 2024 at the Belfry, another chance to see this production which featured in the MCDA competition earlier this year.
