Oswestry Repair Cafe Autumn dates

Dear Blogger

Message forwarded by Ingrid KnowlesOswestry.net

Oswestry & Borders Repair Cafe will be back in Oswestry Memorial Hall on Saturday October 12th 12 - 3 pm
You can help us by booking your item in beforehand, so we know which fixperts to invite and what tools they need to bring. (Bookings by Oct 6th please).

Don't forget you can also bring your repairs in to the Midweek Mend sessions at the Climate Action Hub in Bailey St. Wednesdays 11:00 - 14:00 (but please arrive before 1pm to give us enough time).

We are looking for more volunteers, particularly another electrical fixpert for Midweek Mend in Oswestry on Wednesdays 11 - 2pm. But all volunteers for any role are always welcome! If you know anyone who would be interested, please let us know. There are always other fixperts around to help and advise.

Digital skills programme - free help

Dear Blogger

Message from Susie Hancock, Digital Skills Programme

Digital Skills Programme

The programme helps eligible people in Shropshire to build their online confidence at one of our 25 digital learning hubs, based within libraries and community settings. Teams of friendly and knowledgeable digital volunteers and staff offer individuals the opportunity to overcome the problems they face with the internet and technology. A phone number is included in the article for residents to contact our team directly for more information.

Apologies, it has taken a few weeks to send this editorial through. It has taken time to compile a comprehensive list of village, parish and community publications that welcome information about this service. There has been a hugely positive response, and for that we thank you.

If you require any further information, please get in touch.

Regards
