Oswestry Games

                                                        OSLYMPICS 10K
The organisers have done all the work and the planning but they need volunteers to help with some `light stewarding duties` at the Oslympics 10k race on Sunday 15th July.  It starts at 1.00pm and lasts a couple of hours, Susie Hancock is looking for around ten people
Can you help?

"The Oslympics 10k will be at the heart of the closing day activities of the Oswestry Games.  The 10k race ( that`s 6.2 miles in old money) will start at the Oswestry Cattle Market opposite the Leisure Centre at 1.00pm.  The organisers welcome novice runners as well as the more experienced runners.  The race will be chip timed so competitors can be sure of an accurate time at the end of the race.  Runners can find a map of the 10k route on the Games website along with the race entry form, race entries are accepted on-line too.  All runners will receive an Oswestry Games T-shirt.  There will be prizes for the first three in each age group plus Gold, Silver and Bronze Oswestry Games medals".
