BASCHURCH FUN RUN

A Fun Run is being organized by a group of young teenagers under the guidance of members of Baschurch Parish Council who administer the Playground Trust in this area. All proceeds will be added to monies already raised to purchase a multi-functional skateboard/BMX/scooter park in the village.
The Fun Run will start at 11.00 a.m. from Baschurch Village Hall. Two routes have been designated, the Short Route being 2.5 miles and the Long Route being 4 miles. Both routes will finish at the Village Hall. All ages are welcome, but children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Cost per runner will be £2 for children under 12 and £4 for over 12's and adults. Choice of route is to be indicated by each runner when registering on the day.
During the day, light refreshments and drinks will be available in the Village Hall for runners and supporters and a BBQ will be provided outside. Various entertainments are being organized around the Village Hall for children and adults.
Registration of runners will commence at 10.00 a.m. and different coloured wristbands will be issued according to which route each runner chooses. Both routes will be administered by Marshals who will ensure the safety of all participants.
