For those who found this difficult to read, I hope this is better.
Readers will have seen the Diversion suggested by SC - the normal 62km route!!
But locals know the routes through the lanes - only for cars of course - too narrow for coaches and HGVs. I suggest we adopt the "standard" gyratory route - Ruyton to Baschurch via the Nesses route and back via the Stawardine turn to Platt Bridge by Dairi-pak. And they can't spell Ruyton (again) I will contact them in the morning to check that the scope of work includes cutting back the verges to restore the width of the footpath,
