Hi Everyone,
It is very noticable that the road is incredibly quiet - obviously most
people are being sensible and staying at home. I have not seen the
gritter lorry but the cars have packed down the snow, although it seems
to be melting and turning to slush.
A Lloyds animal feeds wagon got stuck outside the house, mainly because
he had to slow down for a skidding car, but he was pulled out by Robert
Hamlett with his tractor. Many thanks to the Hamlet family.
CAN YOU HELP?
I can imagine the kids (and grown up kids) having a great time
tobogganing down the hill over the river but I will not be going out
there to phograph them!
I would love to have some pictures of the village coming togther on
their toboggans. I can then send out the images we old codgers cannot
enjoy. They will then be kept in the Ruyton archive- the pictures, not
the old codgers.
Stay safe and keep warm,
Yoland
