Many Shropshire gardens to enjoy as we go into Autumn There are still many lovely Shropshire gardens to enjoy as part of the National Garden Scheme, all with plenty to see and admire in their late summer/Autumn colours, and all, of course, raising money for our nursing and caring charities.
SUNDAY 30th AUGUST: SAMBROOK MANOR, Sambrook, nr Newport (just off the A41). This beautifully planted, elegant garden is a delight of late summer colour with its deep borders, Oriental garden and pretty pond and rill, it is a lovely place to visit on a summer's day. No refreshments are available but visitors are welcome to take a picnic and enjoy it in the arboretum overlooking the brook.
