We noticed that plants in our garden were invading onto the pavement so they were cut back.
In fact vegetation is impeding use of the pavement in several places along the Brownhill and it is worth reminding house owners that they are legaly responsible for cutting back hedge/rose/tree growth over the public right of way.
In the past, the Parish Council, at this time of the year, routinely checked for over growing vegetation around the village and reported problems to the Highways Authority who are responsible for enforcement.
