Llanymynech Hill Discovery Day


Are you running out of things to do with the children this half term?

LLANYMYNECH DISCOVERY DAY
is just the thing, as suggested by Glyn Gaskill


Sat 20 and 21 April 2013 from about 9.30 a.m. onwards – archaeological dig by the Hoffman Kiln [the big chimney].  Come along if you want to see what is going on. If you want to be a “digger” – phone 01691 839130.

 

Sat 20 April 2013 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. – Discovery Day – find out about birds, beasts, plants and fossils with the experts. Guided walks, pond dipping, animal track identification and displays. Maximum three sessions over the day. £1 per session of £2 for three sessions. Family £5 [ 2 adults + 2 children]. Refreshments available. Contact 01691 830506

The unveiling of a plaque and interpretation board in memory of Dr Gill Poole will take place about 3.30 p.m. , followed by tea in the stableblock education centre.
