STEEL BAND TO PERFORM IN QUARRY
A popular steel band, on tour from Woking, will be performing at Shrewsbury Quarry this summer.
Pupils from Bishop David Brown School (BDB), a specialist school for the performing arts, will be at the Bandstand on July 2, from 11.30am until 1.30pm.
The BDB Steel Band repertoire includes music from many different genres adapted to suit the sound of the steel pans.
The concert is one of many free music events to be held in the Quarry during the summer months.
