Entries for the HOME GROWN SHOW
The closing day for registering your entries for the Ruyton XI Towns Home Grown Show is 6 pm tomorrow (Friday). The entry form is at the back of the Show Programme (available from the Shop for 25p) or can be downloaded from www.rxit.org.uk/HGS . Completed entry forms can be handed to Pam at the flower shop or taken to Chris at The Smithy on School Road (the black-and-white house near the Church Street junction). The exhibits should be brought to the Village Hall on Sunday morning (8th September), between 09.30 and 11.00 am.
Everyone is welcome to join in and show off their produce or just come along to the Show from 2.30 – 4 pm on Sunday. Local businesses and organisations have donated some fantastic Draw prizes. There will be a last chance to buy Draw tickets at the Show. All funds raised will help to maintain the Village Hall and Memorial Hall.
Please support the village show and take the opportunity meet up with your friends and neighbours after the holidays.
