Please see below an invitation to a series of events organised by the Children's Trust and Shropshire Safeguarding Children Board.
I am happy to report that Ruyton XI Towns Parish Council prompted this initiative by starting a conversation with the Board to better understand what Councillors and the Community in general can do to help recognise the signs of Child Safety being compromised. It is clear from recent News Reports that these risks are present in very diverse circumstances, and as "amateurs" we thought we might be kicking ourselves after the event if we realised that we had missed some of the subtle signs that can sometimes indicate a problem.
So come along to one of the events and join with us in understanding what we might be able to do to recognise potential issues. As it says in the notice "welfare and safeguarding of our community's children is everyone's business"
