I work for a charity called Shropshire RCC, which works to improve the quality of life in rural Shropshire. (e.g. We originally set up the Ruyton, Baschurch and West Felton Extend classes which are now running independently. We also run the Boccia tournament and our Carers Support Service helps family carers in the village.) Shropshire RCC has been chosen as one of the organisations to benefit from the Shropshire Star "Cash for your Community" initiative. The Shropshire Star will print a "Cash for your Community" token every day between 16th April and 23rd May. These tokens allow Star readers to "vote" which of the selected charities should be awarded a larger portion of the £20,000 fund. I would be most grateful if you would cut out the tokens every day and save them for Shropshire RCC. Every token counts! If anyone would be prepared to collect tokens for Shropshire RCC, please would they let me know and I can arrange to collect them soon after 23rd May. If anyone has friends elsewhere who would also like to collect tokens for Shropshire RCC, there are collection boxes in the Shrewsbury and Telford branches of Royal Bank of Scotland.
