Just a reminder that if anyone is interested in helping to make decisions about the direction of change in the community and wants to stand as a Parish Councillor in the elections on May 4th, the deadline for getting your nomination papers in is looming - 4.00pm Tuesday 4 April. I have a few packs available and can talk you through the process, or you can ring the Shropshire Council Election Team on 0345 678 9015.
It's a straight forward process. Use the guidance notes to complete your nomination paperwork and obtain a proposer and seconder who lives in the parish to sign and support your nomination. They need to live in the parish, and be registered to vote. You will need polling numbers which are on your polling card you should have recently received through the post.
