                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Human Rights Tour Coming to                                Oswestry                                FRESh (Fairness,                                Respect, Equality in Shropshire) and the                                British Institute of Human Rights (BIHR)                                are working with Oswestry Welcomes                                Refugees and other local organisations to                                host a Human Rights event in Oswestry. The                                event is part of the BIHR Human Rights                                nationwide tour and is being held on Thursday                                  9th March, at The Centre, Oak Street,                                  Oswestry.                                                                   The all-day event will focus on Human                                Rights in rural areas. It is free to                                attend for all or part of the day. There                                is a complimentary buffet lunch (suitable                                for vegetarians with GF options).                                                                  Talks on Human Rights Law by BIHR's expert                                speakers, plus open discussion and debates                                about this most important of issues -                                arguably under greater threat than at any                                time since WWII - promises to make for an                                engaging, enlightening and informative                                event.                                                                   This event will be useful and valuable to                                business professionals, HR and line                                managers, as well as anyone with a                                developing people management remit. It                                will assist professionals and volunteers                                working with vulnerable groups, migrant                                workers and others whose beliefs, colour,                                creed, gender, sexual orientation or                                philosophies put their human rights at                                risk. You can do so here:                                                                  This event is sponsored by The Jools Payne                                Partnership and Shropshire Council's                                Oswestry Community Action team in                                partnership with FRESh.                                                                  There is good access and facilities at the                                venue for less able bodied delegates, with                                limited dedicated disabled parking spaces                                immediately adjacent to the entrance.                                Signing for the deaf is available upon                                request in advance.
