Message from QUBE, Oswestry
Latest news and updates from Qube Hello from us all at Qube... Welcome to our December newsletter! Our Christmas Arts and Crafts exhibition enters its second month on display this December, and will continue to be open right up until the 23rd! Support local artists and makers this year by picking up some truly beautiful gifts, ranging from glassworks, oil paintings and photography to illustrations, sculptures or papier-mâché animals made from old bank statements! All have been made by independent artists and makers. We've had many new additions to our team over the past couple of months. You may have seen all the new faces around the building! The past two years have been a time of significant change for Qube. We've said goodbye to many long-time employees who have since moved onto pastures new, and welcomed many more into the Qube family. It's hard to believe the next newsletter will be sent out in 2023 already! As always, we have a number of courses coming up soon. These include our two new nocturne-based acrylic sessions with Holly Hayward, where you'll learn how to paint an image with a stark contrast of light and darkness. The next blocks of all of our long-running courses (PaintAble, Art History and Chi Gung with Tai Chi), are all now available to book onto for next year. We also have the last of our HAF activities on the 19th and 21st December, where kids will be able to take part in some tennis-themed fun, have a hot lunch and participate in arts and crafts in the afternoon. Keep an eye on our Courses page to stay updated on when these workshops go live. Start the year off right! Full details on all our services can be found on our website. Please feel free to call or email us if we can help you or someone you know. You can contact us on 01691 656882 or email info@qube-oca.org.uk.
