View in Browser Hello, and happy Christmas! A quick reminder that there'll be changes to the day of the week that your waste and recycling is collected over the Christmas and new year period. Changes start on Saturday 24 December and end on Saturday 7 January 2023. Most collections will be one day later than normal, with one exception – collections that would normally be made on Monday 26 December will be made earlier, on Saturday 24 December. Collections will return to normal from Monday 9 January 2023. The usual and revised collection days are below. There's also a link to the waste collection calendar which is being delivered to all properties (and left under bin lids). Please put your waste containers out by 7am on their revised collection day. Thank you! For advice about how to waste less food and save money this Christmas, visit the Love Food Hate Waste website - see link below. And, for advice about what and how to recycle over the Christmas period, see,the collection calendar. Shropshire Council's five recycling centres – in Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Bridgnorth and Craven Arms – will remain open from 9am to 5pm every day, though will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. | | | | |
