RUYTON XI TOWNS PARISH COUNCIL NEWSLETTER UPDATE
Over the Christmas and new year period there will be changes to the day of the week that waste and recycling is collected in the Shropshire Council area.
Most collections will be one day later than normal, with one exception*.
Changes start on Saturday 24 December and end on Saturday 7 January 2023. Collections will return to normal from Monday 9 January 2023.
The usual and revised collection days are:

Mon 26 Dec* —–> Sat 24 Dec* Please note, you will need to put your bins out 2 days EARLIER than usual.

Thurs 29 Dec —–> Fri 30 Dec
Fri 30 Dec ———> Sat 31 Dec
Mon 2 Jan ———> Tues 3 Jan
Tues 3 Jan ——–> Weds 4 Jan

Householders are asked to put their waste containers out by 7am on their revised collection day.
Household recycling centres
Shropshire Council's five recycling centres – in Shrewsbury, Oswestry, Whitchurch, Bridgnorth and Craven Arms – will remain open from 9am to 5pm every day, though will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
