Start the New Year with a breath of fresh air - come out walking with Oswestry Ramblers.
Join us on any of our walks - you don't have to be a member but can come as a guest on three walks to try us out. We have over 180 members and we offer a varied programme of great walks. We usually walk twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with around 10-20 people on our walks. We are a friendly group and like to chat as we ramble.
Here are details of our upcoming walks, along with links to the Ramblers website where full details of all our walks are available.
Thursday 15 January
Non-members welcome
A 5.5-mile moderate walk from Trefonen village car park along Offa's Dyke and on to Candy. We will walk through woodland before climbing away from the river to eventually reach Mynydd Myfyr and then back through fields and lanes to the start. Please bring provisions for coffee and lunch stops. For full details see https://www.ramblers.org.uk/go-walking/group-walks/trefonen-offas-dyke-and-candy

A 6-mile leisurely walk travelling through lanes fields and tracks heading towards Myddle. Some climbing but nothing too arduous. Maybe muddy in places but the sandstone area makes it easier to drain. Coffee and lunch stops, please bring your own refreshments.
