Visit a National Garden Scheme open garden and capture what's beyond the gate to be in with a chance of winning prizes worth over £950 from our sponsors, WOLF-Garten. Simply take your camera or camera phone to National Garden Scheme garden openings between 15th March and 28th August 2018 and visit our website to submit your photo(s). There are six categories to get creative with - including the category BBC Gardeners' World Magazine: Fantastic Flowers, from which the winning image will feature in the magazine's 2019 calendar. The winner of the Best Overall Photo will receive a WOLF-Garten 72v lithium bundle, including lawnmower, leaf blower, hedge trimmer and grass trimmer worth £950, and each category winner will receive £100 to spend on the current WOLF-Garten range (including cutting tools, cultivating tools, power tools etc.). The deadline for entries is midnight on 28th August 2018. and if you need some inspiration, take a look at last year's winning images. The persistant rain is playing havock with Sabrina Tours on the River Severn, however, I do urge everyone to go on one of their tours.  Very pleasant, very peaceful, very informative.    Y.

Just when I thought we are home and dry the river has gone up again and we can't run today – its falling tonight apparently. So reactive as the ground is saturated and any rain over Mid Wales is hitting the rivers.

Dog Poo - what else!

Message from Colin Case.

Our Parish Council is now in touch with the Shropshire Council Dog Warden.

The warden will visit frequently to help encourage all owners to pick up after their dog and dispose of it properly.

Of course if his powers of persuasion fail he has the power to issue a fine. Try some Yoga instead of a fine :)
