Dear Blogger

DAVE ANDREWS` 15th `Who Done it` CHASE TO THE CUT

Dave Andrews has just published his fifteenth book. Chase to the Cut is the final novel in his Inspector Probert trilogy of murder mysteries set in the Oswestry area. Like the previous two, Each Slow Dusk and Bolt from the Black, Chase to the Cut is a stand-alone novel telling its own complete, self-contained story.

In Chase to the Cut, one man is attacked in his hotel room on the outskirts of Oswestry and another is murdered in Ellesmere during its annual Winter Festival’s Lantern Parade. It’s up to Detective Chief Inspector Gary Llewelyn Probert and his team to discover whether there’s a connection between the two incidents and catch whoever is responsible.

The complex investigation throws up a mysterious link with the Beatles, especially John Lennon. DCI Probert, as if he didn’t have enough on his plate, also needs to deal with the fact that one of his colleagues is developing an unwelcome romantic interest in him.

Dave is Reader/Writer in Residence at Oswestry Library where he gives talks on various aspects of English and Welsh literature and offers advice to writers. He’s the author of fourteen previous books, many with a local theme, including The Oswestry Round, Gobowen to Everest and Wilfred Owen: Poet of Oswestry.

Chase to the Cut and Dave’s other books are available in Booka, Siop Cwlwm, Oswestry Library or direct from Dave at daveauthor54@gmail.com Chase to the Cut costs £9.99.
