OSWESTRY FOLK - LIGHTS OUT EVENTS continue to bring top class folk music acts to Oswestry and we have a great set of gigs coming up this year and into next.
In order for us to continue to do this we need your support! In other words, in order for us to be able to keep bringing you these events we need "Bums on Seats"
We've had great support so far with over one hundred and eighty signed up to our mailing list but we still need ticket sales to cover the costs of performers and venue hire.
If any profit is made from gigs its simply re-invested to keep bringing new acts to Oswestry and district.
Coming up we've got the brilliant Berlinda O'Hooley on Thursday this next week (24th September)
November 11th sees the welcome return of Harp &a Monkey with their acclaimed album War Stories
Then on November 21st we move out into the country, Trefonen to be exact as we team up with Arts Alive to bring canadian band Inn Echo to the village hall.
December 8th sees the world renowned guitar and melodeon player Tim Edey perform his Celtic Christmas at Trefonen Church. He will be joined there with an opening set from
local musicians and singers Mair Thomas and John Nielson for what promises to be a wonderful night of music and entertainment.

Then in the new year we already have The Brothers Gillespie booked and during the Wilfred Owen Festival in March we have the wonderful husband and wife duo
Sean Lakeman and Kathryn Roberts.
