Richard Jones Berwyn spent three quarters of his life in South America and was described by the author R. Bryn Williams as " one of the most able men amongst the settlers " . The talk will touch on why 162 Welsh people decided to leave Wales in 1865 and discuss Berwyn's remarkable life, his long list of achievements and his lasting legacy.
