LIFE`S A BEACH IN THE DARWIN CENTRE
`Life’s A Beach` will bring the sights and delights of the seaside to the Darwin Shopping Centre from Saturday, August 17, to Saturday, August 24..
There will be sand, deckchairs, ice cream and all the fun of the Great British Seaside but indoors and almost as far as you can get from the sea in the UK.
There will be Wurlitzer music, a beach craft marquee and lots of things going on for the children.
“There will be a photography competition too and it will all be supervised by staff dressed as lifeguards and while at the seaside you can’t always guarantee the weather, it won’t be raining in the Darwin Centre.”
And what day out at the seaside would be complete without a Punch and Judy show? Be sure to be in the Darwin Centre on 24th August to see the naughty Mr. Punch and the crocodile who stole the sausages, and lots more characters.show.
Kevin Lockwood, Manager of the Darwin, Pride Hill and Riverside Shopping Centres, said: “It should be great fun amd I’m sure everyone will enjoy it.“We all like a day out at the seaside and we try to do something different here at the shopping centres so we thought why not bring the beach to Shrewsbury.”
