This will be the fourth in our series to learn more about the local area. We are moving away from Weston to look at Chirk Castle. Our speaker will be Jill Burton from the National Trust. She will be giving a talk on the Howard De Walden Years at Chirk Castle, 1911 - 1946 – a fascinating insight into both the man, his family and the castle.
£4.00 including refreshments, children free. This is a very interesting story and shows how much one man can help to preserve a property and estate when the family run into hard times financially.
