Uri Geller`s GORILLA!

Message from Amanda Fitton at the British Ironworks Centre, Oswestry.

Many of you will have heard or read about the Gorilla made of spoons for Uri Geller.   Now you can experience what a wonderful day it was for the workforce and those invited to enjoy the unveiling by Prince Michael of Kent.

The sculpture will stand in Uri`s garden which is opened 4 times a year for terminally ill children, mostly from Israel and Palestine.

The British Ironworks Centre at Aston, on the A5 just outside Oswestry, is open as a tourist destination, a great place to take the children to run around the interesting exhibits in the field.   I understand they will be opening a cafe soon.

Please find herewith a link to the official footage of our Open Day on Saturday for your perusal – we wondered if any of your loyal readers would be interested to see this too!
