Message from Anne Smith, St. John the Baptist Church Ruyton XI Towns. Because of a dismal weather forecast for Sunday, The Annual Rogation Service this Sunday 25th May will not be held on the Cliffe, but in Ruyton-XI-Towns church at 11am. This means that we can't do the traditional Beating of the Parish Boundary, but at least we will be dry, and we extend a warm invitation to everyone to come to give thanks for the beauty and productivity of the earth, and to ask for a blessing on the crops now growing - and to enjoy coffee and biscuits afterwards!
