Football Festival and Family Fun Day North Shropshire College will be holding the Football Festival and Family Fun Day on Sunday 5th June 2016, in partnership with the Shropshire FA. It will be a fun filled day with a football tournament starting at 11am, stalls from local businesses, a tombola, refreshments, Scholars Pop-up restaurant. The event opens at 10am to 4pm will be raising money Severn Hospice in Memory of Geoff Farr, a former tutor at the College who is greatly missed. | | NSC to Launch HE Prospectus NSC is launching its first HE Prospectus, showing the real breadth of what the College has to offer. The College has, for a very long time, offered the Foundation Diploma and the BA(Hons) top-up in Sports Development and Coaching.
The College offers higher level technical qualifications in Business and Accounting, Motor Vehicle, Animal Management and Beauty. There is a wide range of qualifications in Wildlife and Countryside, from HND to Foundation Degree and BSc(Hons). Many of the HE courses at NSC are provided in partnership with Staffordshire University.
Access to HE courses are available to people who need the necessary entry qualifications to get onto the HE course they want, NSC offers Access to HE courses in five subjects: - Health
- Humanities
- Land-based
- Science
- Social Science

Twilight Tasters There will be Twilight Tasters in the coming months in three subject areas: Hairdressing, Electrical and Catering. The tasters are the perfect opportunity to see what life at the College is like and the wide variety of courses we offer. The Tasters are open to everyone and are happening on Tuesday 10th May and Tuesday 14th June, from 6pm until 7.30pm.
