Less than 4 weeks left for Qube Open 2016 entries!
Qube Gallery is calling for artist submissions to its most popular annual event, the Qube Open Art Competition. This year's competition theme is 'Migration'. Anyone is eligible to enter and works can be of any medium, 2D, 3D or digital.
A £500 cash prize is awarded to the winning artist, decided by an independent panel of judges. There is also a People's Choice Prize for the artist with the most public votes. The winner of this will receive their own 4 week exhibition at Qube in 2017.
An exhibition of shortlisted entries will be held at Qube from 12th September to 7th November - longer than previous years. The winner of the Best in Show prize will be announced at a Prize Giving evening at the beginning of the exhibition. This evening always draws a big crowd and is a great opportunity for artists to meet and network with others.
The deadline for entries is Saturday 30th July. Entry to the Qube Open costs just £10.00 per submission.
