 | | | | | Bicycle Polo Tornament 21/08/2016
You may or may not be aware that Moor Farm, in Baschurch, is running a Bicycle Polo Club. On Sunday 21 August, the Polo Club will be hosting the inaugural 'Moor Farm Cup' tournament. We invite your Company, family and friends to enter a team and compete for the Cup. No experience is necessary and you can enter as many teams as you like. You will get a little bit of coaching before you play. If you don't fancy playing why don't you come out to watch the games - the bar will be open with the champagne on ice! Bicycle Polo is a fun family day out. Bicycle Polo consists of teams of four (mixed teams allowed aged 16 and over) whose objective is to hit a ball, with a short polo mallet, whilst on a bicycle into the oppositions goal!! There are no goal keepers so you also have to defend your own goal. There are four quarters to a match. Each quarter is known as a chukka which is 7 mins long. | |
