I am more than happy to help to publicise any local events by copying and pasting text, and can attach posters and flyers with my emails.
But a bit of advice for you poster designers, do please consider the people on the mailing list who might help by printing and displaying your posters and flyers. Nobody wants to use copious amounts of one colour for the background - it is just too expensive.
So please think about this when designing your posters and flyers.
