Borderland Visual Arts have a group show of Affordable Art (all items under ú250) in the Willow Gallery running through until Sat 11th January 2020. An ideal opportunity to buy an original and unique work of art for your home or for a gift. Visit Derwen College on Friday 13th December for late night opening. Bring the children along to Tea with Santa 4pm to 5.30pm at the Garden CafÚ. The Christmas Menu is available in The Orangery until the 19th December. Welshpool & Llanfaur Railway are running Mince Pie Special Trips on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th December. The giftshop at Whittington Castle is full of present ideas for all the family - open Wednesday to Sunday 10-4pm. These start at 12 noon and will include a walk around the grounds plus inside telling history and legends of the Castle. Price is ú5 and this will include a mince pie/cake plus hot drink after to warm up! No need to book just turn up on the day. Whittington Castle will be open Wednesday to Sunday until 22nd December. Open Friday 27th until Sunday 29th December. Open 2nd until 5th January 2020 and then open all year Wednesday to Sunday 10-4pm. We do not close over the winter. | | |
