Has our school got a Giraffe?

Dear Blogger

Press release from the British Ironworks Centre - Such a good idea, I wonder if Ruyton Primary School, or even Packwood, have a Giraffe.

The Ironworks Present ƦRecycling SuperstarƆ Certificates to Primary Schools

This summer, we launched one of our newest recycling initiatives Ć» a bottle top recycling project designed specifically for primary school children all over the country. Once announced, the project sky-rocketed immediately, with hundreds of schools from all over the UK contacting us to take part.

This truly unique project has seen a total of six colourful mesh giraffes (designed to serve as an attractive bottle top store) sent out to a number of schools already, with many schools still set to borrow one in the coming months. It was our hope that the project would not only encourage school children to recycle, but that it would also help to educate children about the importance of protecting our environment. Since its beginning, the project has done so much more than just that. It has also encouraged creativity, initiative, kindness, independence, determination and a real love for our planet, something which we hope to see continue as the project moves into 2020.
