Things to brighten winter days ...

We're delighted to say that all the Shropshire gardens opening for the National Garden Scheme in 2021 are now available to view on the website at: www.ngs.org.uk.  So now's the time, in these dull days, to plan your spring, summer and autumn visits to our wonderful gardens.  We have 11 new gardens joining or re-joining the Scheme this year plus 12 "new" gardens from 2020 which were unable to open due to Covid - so 23 new gardens - plus, of course, all our ever-favourite gardens.  We have no snowdrop openings in the county next year, so our full programme will (hopefully!) start on Sunday 11th April at Edge Villa.

One of our new gardens - 153 Willoughbridge - does not come up on the Shropshire search as it is on the border with Staffordshire.  So to view this garden, please click on the image below.  153 Willoughbridge will be opening for the first time for the National Garden Scheme on Sat 17th & Sun 18th July, so make a date for your visit now - tickets must be purchased in advance from the NGS website.
Shropshire Leaflet

The 2021 Shropshire NGS Leaflet will be available from mid February onwards.  All the Shropshire volunteers will be doing their best to distribute the leaflets around the county, but given the current restrictions, we may not be able to get round to all our usual locations.  So, if you would like a copy of the leaflet posted to you please send a DL size stamped addressed envelope (ordinary 2nd class stamp please) to: Allison Walter, Stonewood Barn, The Beeches, Marton, Shropshire, SY21 8JY and we will make sure one is posted to you.
