August news from Qube, Oswestry

Dear Blogger

Latest news and updates from Qube

Hello from us all at Qube...

Welcome to our August newsletter! It has been a busy month for us at Qube, particularly for Dial-a-Ride and our social groups, as more people start to get out and about. It has been really nice to see so many of our members again but we are still supporting those who would prefer to stay at home with hot meals, shopping and activity packs.

We have lots of arts activities starting soon, including exhibitions, workshops and projects. Our course programme will be returning again in the autumn, starting with a series of exciting printmaking workshops. There are still a few places left on our summer holiday workshops for young people aged 11-17 too.

Are you looking for a new career? We are recruiting for a Well-being and Befriending Officer and for an Infrastructure Support Team to support the voluntary sector. Further details about all the roles can be found below and online.

Please feel free to call or email us if we can help you or someone you know. You can contact us on 01691 656882 or email info@qube-oca.org.uk.

Lateral Flow Tests
Did you know you can pick up Lateral Flow Tests from Qube? You don't need to have symptoms or a particular reason to pick up a testing kit. Testing just a couple of times a week can help to ensure people are not spreading the virus asymptomatically. Ask at reception for your kit. Full instructions are provided.
