Yesterday we had a visit from a charming lady from the Council. It seems someone has complained about a bonfire at Brownhill House.
If anyone has a problem it is better to email, brownhill@eleventowns.co.uk or telephone, 01939 261 121, rather than make a complaint. For example, a couple of weeks ago we stopped adding to a bonfire because a neighbour told us they were sitting in their garden with friends.
As you know, this garden covers 2 acres and opening it to the public has raised many thousands of pounds for charity. It creates way more rubbish than the brown dustbin can cope with but we do not burn plastic or anything similar, just garden rubbish and some paper from the office.
