Coming to Our Screen This Week & Into September!

As the summer holidays draw to a close we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has visited the cinema over the summer ... but it is not over yet!

The last chance to hop aboard on another big railway adventure with 'The Railway Children Return' is This Tuesday 23rd August at 1:30pm. In this lovely family friendly film Jenny Agutter reprises her role as Bobbie, now a grandmother and also looking after three evacuee children during World War II.

Olivia Colman returns to our screen in Irish drama 'Joyride'.

Over the weekend of 26th - 28th August we have our mini BEACON FILM FESTIVAL TAKEOVER ... a great opportunity for young people aged 16-30 to learn all about film programming through a fun afternoon of workshops and to join our programming team for the full Beacon Film Festival in October.

We also have three brilliant but very different films programmed by our current Young Film Programmers screening over Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

Our final film for August is the Iranian delight 'Hit The Road' a tender & comedic family road trip acclaimed by critics and hailed as "A Persian Little Miss Sunshine".
